In this 4-Week Beginners Course, you will learn the ancient craft of throwing on the wheel. This course lays the foundation for the development of basic skills in throwing, trimming, and glaze application. A perfect starting point for anyone wanting to get their hands dirty and not only come away with a few creations of cups, bowls and other vessels but a better understanding and appreciation for a difficult craft that has been part of our human story for centuries. This course includes 2.5 hours a week with a demonstration and hands-on guidance as well as clay, tools and firing. Suitable for beginners or those wanting a refresh!

Class Breakdown
  • Class runs for 2.5 hours

  • No pottery skills are required. Great for beginners!

  • The max capacity for this class is 8ppl to help create a more intimate and focused learning environment.

  • The course is non-refundable but can be transferred to another date if unable to attend and we are notified 24hrs in advanced.

  • All supplies and kiln firing are included in the cost.

  • our pottery classes are designed for participants aged 15 and older. We do not offer classes for children at this time.
