5-Week Hand Building Course

Hand building can allow so much room for creative freedom. If you’ve been curious about the various methods of hand building from simple to more advanced practices, our 5-week course is perfect for you. We’ll explore a variety of techniques, including pinching, coiling, hard and soft slab building to make a range of sculptural and utilitarian pieces. We’ll also dive into texturising your pieces by using clay embellishments, sgraffito, slip trailing, and more. This fun course encourages you to experiment with different styles and techniques, helping you develop your unique creative voice and outlet.

Class Breakdown

Class runs for 2.5 hours on the designated day for 5 consecutive weeks.
No prior pottery skills are required.
All clay, materials, and firing expenses are included in this course.
The course is non-refundable, it can be transferred to another date if we are notified 24 hours prior to the first class.
We don’t offer make-up sessions.
Our pottery classes are designed for participants aged 15 and older.
