5-Week Hand Building Course

Hand building is all about getting hands-on, playing with clay, and discovering what you enjoy making. Over five weeks, each session focuses on a different fundamental technique -including pinching, coiling, and slab building- giving you the skills to shape and construct your own pieces. You’ll also have room to explore ways to add personal touches, texture, and style to your work.

Each session includes demonstrations, guidance, and plenty of hands-on time, giving you space to experiment, play, and find your own rhythm.

Clay, tools, and firing are all included. By the end, you’ll have several pieces you made yourself, plus the confidence and curiosity to keep exploring hand building and see where your pottery journey can take you.

Class Breakdown

Class runs for 2.5 hours on the designated day for 5 consecutive weeks.
No prior pottery skills are required.
All clay, materials, and firing expenses are included in this course.
The course is non-refundable, it can be transferred to another date if we are notified 24 hours prior to the first class.
We don’t offer make-up sessions.
Our pottery classes are designed for participants aged 15 and older.
