Glaze Class

This once-a-month guided glazing class is designed to build confidence and understanding around the glazing process. Students will have access to both our in-house dip glazes, mixed and tested by one of our teachers, as well as a range of commercial brush-on glazes.

The session covers fundamental glazing techniques including dip glazing, brush application, layering, and combining glazes to achieve a variety of surface effects. Students will learn how small adjustments - such as glaze thickness, overlap, and placement- can significantly change the final result.

This class is suitable for anyone looking to improve their glazing skills, gain a clearer understanding of glaze behaviour, and approach the finishing stage of their work with more confidence. A supportive, hands-on session focused on practical learning and informed experimentation.

The maximum capacity for this class is 10 students, allowing for a focused and supported learning environment
This class is non-refundable, but may be transferred to another date if you are unable to attend and we are notified at least 24 hours in advance
All firing costs are included in this class
