We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and the local Yugambeh People who first inhabited the region now known as Burleigh Heads. A volcanic headland located on the edge of The Pacific, “Dreaming Mountain”, as named by the Yugambeh, is deeply connected to culture and country with many ancient sites and sacred spaces still visible today. We pay our respect to elders past and present and the cultural and artistic contribution they’ve made to the land we all share.
